Jesus is the only way to heaven

Sending love, hugs and blessings from the UK to all the body of Christ all over the world. Stand strong, keep sharing, standing shoulder to shoulder, encouraging each other in prayer in Jesus name. I am sending love and encouragement to you all as we move forwards in spiritual battle as a part of heaven’s army, marching for Jesus, declaring the good news of the Gospel and songs of love and worship towards Him for his glory and elevation.

I don’t know about you, but I am tired, as discussed recently in the Elevation Church worship service conducted by Pastor Steven Furtick. It literally has been the worst month for being productive in any way, shape or form! It has been one of those months when everything I have tried to do has gone wrong, everyone is struggling, the system that are supposed to support us are failing dismally, and I’m just downright tired and had enough.

But even though I am tired, I am still thankful for God’s grace, his unconditional love, and the support and love experienced through a personal relationship with God. I am thankful that I can bring every single problem and complaint to him, and leave it all at the cross.

Some ‘religions’ have made it seem like a huge checklist of do’s and don’ts, and this simply is not the case, and frustrates me. All we need to do is come to him, admit we have ignored him, admit that we have messed up, and then turn from our old ways to the ways God intended us to live in the first place, through acceptance of his only Son, dying for all of us, on that cross at Calvary. Then invite Jesus into our hearts and our lives and step forward into every new day, but never alone ever again. That’s powerful stuff right?

Every single sin, past, present and future was paid for by Jesus Christ shedding his blood and dying for us. Wow, pretty impressive isn’t it that he loves us so much, every single one of us! I stand in awe and am amazed at the blessings every single day, for every single miracle, for every single feeling of love and support from all over the world when I put out a prayer request on my Facebook page. Just phenominal! Mind blowing!

And all it takes is a simple prayer. You can google it, but to save you time, here is a version I found that I quite like.

“Lord Jesus Christ, I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life. I ask your forgiveness and now turn from everything which I know is wrong. Thank you for dying on the cross for me to set me free from my sins. Please come into my life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and be with me forever. Thank you Lord Jesus Amen.”

If you are not ‘born again’ please take a few moments to read this for yourself. The scripture is taken from the New International Version of the Holy Bible, the book of truth from God. This is what Jesus had to say on the subject of going to heaven.

John 14 – New International Version

Jesus Comforts His Disciples

14 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[a]; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”

Jesus the Way to the Father

Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know[b] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”

Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

15 “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[c] in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

22 Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?”

23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

25 “All this I have spoken while still with you. 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

28 “You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. 29 I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe. 30 I will not say much more to you, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold over me, 31 but he comes so that the world may learn that I love the Father and do exactly what my Father has commanded me.

“Come now; let us leave.

God is in control

On a daily basis I am reminded that God is in control, and it’s my job to serve him. I have listened carefully and find myself changing from the inside out as a result. I consider it pure joy every time I have been accused of things, been called names and generally been moaned at for doing one thing or another. I have a feeling that something good is about to happen.

Generally the main prayer has been for good health of all family and friends and Christians all over the world. Specifically closer to home, and maybe a little selfish, but pressing into prayer to lift the flight ban between Africa and the UK, so that our families can really begin to get to know each other.

George released a new music video yesterday evening, and I am so proud and happy to see this, and so are the kids. You can find it at https://youtu.be/Uc3gfvLUuW8 – Please Like, Subscribe and Share. Let’s take this all around the world! In Jesus name I pray for success. Amen!

Numbers 6:22-27

The priestly blessing

22 The Lord said to Moses, 23 ‘Tell Aaron and his sons, “This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them:

24 ‘“‘The Lord bless you
    and keep you;
25 the Lord make his face shine on you
    and be gracious to you;
26 the Lord turn his face towards you
    and give you peace.’”

27 ‘So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.’

Bible Study from Monday 22nd June 2020

I wanted to share this to confirm that I do spend time with God, it’s not just all copy and paste scripture. What I have discovered is the more time I spend with him, listening to what he has to say in the teachings, the more he blesses me.

Recently I have felt very tired and abandoned. I have been insulted, incorrectly referred to, I have been angry and frustrated and it absolutely links back to the total amount of time I spend in his presence. The more I study, read and listen to, the more my problems and prayers are answered.

On several occasions this month, I have found myself angry at God for saving me when I took the overdose back in 2000. I cried out to God and asked why he bothered to save me, I was having a terrible day. My answer came I discovered today through a sermon in the very early hours of the morning. He didn’t save me personally, what he did was save my parents from the grief. Powerful response, within 24 hours of my request. Wow!

Our God is truly amazing, and loves us all very much. God bless you all and thank you for reading, in Jesus name I pray. Amen.
